What are the advantages of beeswax cling film?
Beeswax food wraps are made exclusively from natural ingredients, are super easy to use and are long-lasting. What else do you want from cling film?
The beeswax wrap consists of cotton, beeswax and resin, and is naturally antibacterial. The result is a somewhat sturdier cloth that is simple to fold. If you grasp a wrap, it becomes flexible due to the warmth of your fingers. You can use it to cover all sorts of things: bowls, plates, pans, dishes. Just name it.
Depending on how intensively you use them and how well you look after them, beeswax food wraps will last for about a year. Just make sure that it is not exposed to hot water because then the wax melts, and it can no longer be used as wrapping material.
How do I use beeswax food wraps?
You get three different-sized wraps to cover all different kinds of things. Apply as follows:
- Cover your food with a beeswax food wrap
- Fold it gently at the edges
- Hold this for a few seconds
- Store in the refrigerator
- Look forward to your leftovers!
How do I keep beeswax food wraps clean?
Please do not wash beeswax food wraps in warm water. But how do you clean it? Quite simply. Rinse with cold water and, if necessary, with some organic detergent. Please note: the wraps are not suitable for the dishwasher, washing machine or microwave.
