The bamboo toothbrush from Bamboovement is perfect when you’re looking for new ways to reduce your own plastic footprint. Plastic toothbrushes are almost impossible to recycle. What better way to help nature out a little by switching to a bamboo toothbrush. Besides, our toothbrushes are used and recommended by dental professionals.
The bamboo is completely biodegradable. The hairs are made from nylon 610. This type of nylon is made from castor oil which is sourced from the castor plant (also known as the miracle tree). This process is much more sustainable as for regular nylon for which crude oil is being used. Unfortunately, the hairs aren’t fully biodegradable yet (we are working on it, so bear with us!). For now, you can take off the hairs with a pincer or break off the head and put it in the waste bin.
Some use it to style their hair with, and others use it to remove tangles. There’s also a group of people using it to maintain their beards in shape. We’re talking simple combs of course. In general, a comb lasts quite a while. However, a disadvantage is that a plastic one is hardly recyclable. That’s why we added an eco-friendly alternative to our product range. Our bamboo comb lasts at least as long as a plastic one, but there are some additional advantages even.
Bamboo, like wood, takes better care of your hair than plastic does. It ensures less hair breakage and hair loss, and it does not make your hair static while combing. All because you massage your skin better with a bamboo comb. Massaging your skin stimulates blood circulation and that, in turn, ensures better hair growth. Whether it’s about your scalp hair or beard hair, you want to take proper care.

Hele mooie set voor een geweldige prijs! Vind de wattenstaafjes veel fijner dan de kartonnen of plastic producten. Ook van de tandenborstel ben ik erg onder de indruk. Had verwacht dat ik dat niet prettig zou vinden in mijn mond maar het poetst heerlijk, ook de haren van de borstel zijn heel prettig.
